Among the lineup, the highly anticipated Ultra model, initially rumored for a Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 launch, is now confirmed to be globally unveiled alongside the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro later this month.
- The global launch date, set for February 25, was officially disclosed by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun, strategically scheduled just ahead of the MWC 2024, taking place from February 26 to February 29 (Xiaomi 14 Series launch). Although the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to be part of the global launch, the company has not explicitly clarified its inclusion.
- Recent Geekbench sightings have provided insights into the rumored Xiaomi 14 Ultra, identified by the model number 24030PN60G (Xiaomi 14 Series launch). Anticipated specifications include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, Adreno 750 GPU, and up to 16GB of RAM, running on the Android 14-based HyperOS.
- The device is poised to feature a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED 120Hz display, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and a quad rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 primary sensor. Xiaomi may also equip the phone with a 5,180mAh battery supporting 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
- Meanwhile, the global versions of the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro are anticipated to mirror the specifications of their Chinese counterparts (Xiaomi 14 Series launch).
- In China, the Pro variant features a 6.73-inch 2K LTPO screen, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 onboard storage (Xiaomi 14 Series launch). The standard model shares similar specifications and is equipped with a 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED 1.5K (1,200×2,600 pixels) display.
- The Pro model boasts a 4,880mAh battery with 120W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W wireless reverse charging support, while the base model comes with a 4,610mAh battery supporting 90W wired, 50W wireless, and 10W wireless reverse charging.
- Optics-wise, the Xiaomi 14 Pro features a Leica-branded triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel telephoto shooter, and a 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens.
- The front camera of the handset houses a 32-megapixel sensor. The Xiaomi 14 shares similar camera specifications (Xiaomi 14 Series launch). In China, the Pro model starts at CNY 4,999 (approximately Rs. 56,500) for the 12GB + 256GB variant, while the base model begins at CNY 3,999 (approximately Rs. 50,000) for the 8GB + 256GB variant.
