Realme introduces the 12 Pro+ 5G and 12 Pro 5G in India on January 29.
Realme 12 Pro+ 5G and Realme 12 Pro 5G smartphones operate on the Realme UI 5.0 custom skin and feature triple rear cameras, headlined by a 50-megapixel primary sensor.
Powering the Realme 12 Pro 5G series are 5,000mAh batteries with 67W SuperVOOC Charging support. The Realme 12 Pro+ 5G is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, while the Realme 12 Pro 5G, positioned as the more affordable option, runs on a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC. Both devices incorporate Dynamic RAM technology, utilizing unused internal storage for additional memory.
In terms of pricing, the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G starts at Rs. 29,999 for the base 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. The 8GB + 256GB model is priced at Rs. 31,999, and the top-tier 12GB + 256GB option costs Rs. 33,999. The phone is available in Navigator Beige, Submarine Blue, and Explorer Red colors.
On the other hand, the Realme 12 Pro 5G starts at Rs. 25,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model, and the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 26,999. It is offered in Navigator Beige and Submarine Blue color options.
The Realme 12 Pro 5G series is set to be available for purchase through Flipkart and the Realme website, starting February 6 at noon IST. An early access sale is scheduled on the company’s website today at 6 pm (Realme introduces the 12 Pro+ 5G and 12 Pro 5G).
Realme 12 Pro+ 5G specifications: The Realme 12 Pro+ 5G is a dual-SIM (Nano) device running on Android 14 with the company’s Realme UI 5.0 skin. The smartphone features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 1080×2400 pixels, boasting a 93 percent screen-to-body ratio, 2160Hz PWM dimming, and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

The camera setup on the Realme 12 Pro+ 5G includes a triple rear unit led by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX 890 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), 4-in-1-pixel fusion technology, and a 1/1.56-inch sensor. It also incorporates a 64-megapixel OmniVision OV64B sensor with OIS and 3x optical zoom, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. For selfies and video chats, there is a 32-megapixel front camera, and the camera setup supports 120X digital zoom.
The Realme 12 Pro+ 5G offers 256GB of storage and includes connectivity options such as 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS/AGPS. The device features Hi-Res dual speakers with Dolby Atmos sound technology and has an IP65-certified build.
Realme has equipped the Realme 12 Pro 5G with a 5,000mAh battery supporting 67W SuperVOOC charging. The battery is stated to provide up to 390 hours of standby time and 17.41 hours of YouTube video playtime on a single charge.
