Indian Oil Corp, the country’s top refiner, will open 300 ethanol fuel stations, federal road transport minister Nitin Gadkari said on Friday.
  • India ranked as the world’s third-largest oil importer and consumer, is committed to reducing its carbon footprint as part of its 2070 net-zero carbon objective.
  • “My demand of opening of ethanol pumps is accepted by the petroleum minister,” Gadkari said on the sidelines of a sugar conference in the western city of Pune.
