Hyundai finally unveils the highly anticipated facelifted Creta (2024).

Since the fiscal year 2016, Hyundai has successfully sold 900,000 units of the Hyundai Creta in India. The SUV has commanded a significant market share of 31 percent in the mid-size SUV segment.
  • On January 16, Hyundai unveiled the highly anticipated facelifted Creta in the Indian market, showcasing significant design enhancements, new features, and an additional engine option.
  • The Creta has been a pivotal contributor, constituting 21 percent of Hyundai Motor India’s total sales and reaching 900,000 units sold since FY2016.
  • With a robust 31 percent share in the mid-size SUV segment in 2023, the Creta’s popularity is underscored by the remarkable statistic that one Creta has been sold every five minutes in India over the last eight-and-a-half years.
  • On January 2, the automotive giant initiated bookings for the newest version of its Creta model.
  • The Hyundai Creta faces rivals such as the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, and the upcoming Tata Curvv in the competitive mid-size SUV market.
  • Hyundai Creta facelift, the revised model will have seven variants: E, EX, S, S(O), SX, SX Tech, and SX(O). This latest iteration of the SUV showcases several cosmetic upgrades from its predecessor and integrates new features, including an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) package.
  • Color options, the SUV will be available in a selection of colors, comprising six mono-tone and one dual-tone option. The mono-tone paint choices encompass Robust Emerald Pearl (New), Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Abyss Black, Atlas White, and Titan Grey. Furthermore, the dual-tone color variant combines Atlas White with a Black Roof.
  • The 2024 Hyundai Creta presents a diverse range with three engine options, featuring the existing 1.5-liter petrol and diesel units and introducing a new 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine derived from the latest-generation Verna.
  • To cater to varied preferences and driving requirements, the new Creta offers a choice of transmissions, including a 6-speed manual, an Intelligent Variable Transmission (IVT), a 7-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT), and a 6-speed automatic.
  • According to ARAI, the claimed mileage for the Hyundai Creta varies across different engine and transmission configurations:

  • Maintaining a length of 4,330 mm, width of 1,790 mm, and height of 1635 mm, the 2024 Hyundai Creta retains the same wheelbase as its predecessor, measuring 2,610 mm.
